cannot believe we never got a scene between cas and rowena bonding over their doomed fates. he tells her about the empty deal because he knows she understands walking around with your death looming over your head. she (lovingly) scolds him for it but then admits she gets it and she wishes she could’ve saved her own son. then cas says “well fortunately my demise is a ways off. there’s only one thing that could possibly make me happy” and rowena looks at him for a long time and then goes, “so we’re both destined to die at the hands of a winchester” and cas is like “shattered at the altar of. guess you were right all along” and then they cheers to their derangement syndrome (though rowena hates admitting she has it now too)
